Italy’s new budget will cost every family euros 635 in 2012, or euros 6,402 in 2011-2014 once you include former pm Silvio Berlusconi’s last budgets, according to CGIA Mestre, a think tank. They might fix the finances, but they ‘risk bringing the country’s economy to its knees,’ it says.
