Workers occupy railways in Palermo

IN BRIEF / ITALY Workers at shipbuilder Fincantieri in Palermo, Italy, this morning  occupied a section of the railways, blocking trains. The action was taken as part of strike action called in protest against threats to 140 jobs in the Sicilian capital. Later around 1,000 workers marched to the Prefect’s office. Source
